Have you seen the latest makeup of Nicole Kidman in the red carpet premiere of “Nine”? I never thought I’d see a lot of powder in her face. Don’t get me wrong, I am not insulting Nicole Kidman. In fact, I like her and I have always been fascinated by her beauty in every red carpet event that she attends. She has always worn perfect make-up, that is why I wonder where her make-up artist was that night to have too much powder visible in her face.
But this also happens to ordinary women, and I have seen some who have experienced this makeup mishap whenever their pictures are taken. So, let us not isolate Kidman’s case as even YOU can experience having too much powder in your face. Some say maybe the makeup artist was in a hurry to finish her makeup so he/she just “threw” powder in her face.
With this, I think there is a lesson learned when putting on powder makeup. First of, avoid using a sponge or powder puff as this can put too much powder in the face. Second, after putting the powder, you should spread it out equally so that when looking at the mirror, your face looks natural. I think this is basic makeup that most women know, but it is up to us on how we will put it properly. Also, it is good to remember NOT to put makeup when your time before the event is running out. I believe putting on makeup is something that we should put our time and effort on so that we can look good and beautiful in front of everyone.
What happened to Nicole Kidman is something that we should not condemn because I am pretty sure that her makeup mishap happens to all of us. It just happens that she is a celebrity and the media suddenly makes a big deal over it. I’m pretty sure she’ll be looking pretty good on her next red carpet event.
