If you like non-standard and eccentric jewelry, Julia Golan’s creations may be for you. She is a 26 years old Israeli artist who makes wearable art jewelry including this bonsai tree. She works with leather, wire, bead, fake moss and grass. Her creations are usually nature or fashion inspired.
She began designing jewelry four years ago inspired by her great-grandmother who was an actress in the theatre and used to make all her costume jewelry by herself. Julia loves experimenting with material possibilities and uses basic leatherwork techniques like burning, cutting and dyeing.
