If you’re a fan of the Bravo series The Real Housewives of New York, you probably remember Bethenny Frankel, the successful chef and memorable TV personality, who was one of the regular contributors to the well-to-do NYC drama. Both her exposure on the reality series and her personal success as a natural foods chef inspired her now immensely popular book, Naturally Thin.
Released in March, Frankel’s book claims that readers can “unleash [their] skinnygirl and free [themselves] from a lifetime of dieting.” But this healthy, advice-filled book isn’t your ordinary weight loss guide. Frankel wants readers to know that they really can continue to eat foods that they love, while conjuring their inner thin. With recipes included inside, this New York Times bestseller provides both practical advice, and do-it-yourself samples of how to cook smart like Bethenny.
Frankel has also been a contributor to Health magazine, where she regularly submits recipes and blurbs about the business of being fit. Some of her recent articles include “Secrets to Skinny Pasta” and “Tricks to Lighter Comfort Food.”
Her company, Bethenny Bakes, offers (surprise!) baked goods and other sweets that are actually healthy. Her culinary skills and self-branded products have been the favorite of several hungry celebrities in New York.
On her website, Frankel has just announced that she’s already completed her second book, The Skinnygirl Dish, which should appear in bookstores next January.
