Pamela Love is relatively new name in jewelry business but already a very important one. The 27 year old designer creates Goth-inspired jewelry and her pieces caught attention of many big names in fashion world.

In her recent interview for W Magazine Pamela explains what according to her jewelry should be about: "I never liked jewelry growing up. My mom was a very feminine woman and she wore hearts and pink stones, but I was always sort of a tomboy. For me, the appeal is being able to wear jewelry but not having it be prissy."

The young designer is also planning to launch more affordable jewelry line featuring her signature motifs like sculls and claw cuffs or bone rings. She told Style.com :“Everything is made in my studio, so it’s kind of expensive because of that. The only way to really produce in-house and make it affordable is to use more affordable materials. So I think we’re going to start using some costume materials to see if we can lower the price point and also at the same time try to make some really crazy extravagant pieces that are just mind-blowing and amazing. I’d like the costume pieces to be great but affordable, because right now I can’t really even necessarily afford my jewelry. But I want to keep making my stuff by hand in New York and no China, not overseas, not in a factory. So we’re just trying to come up with the most creative ways for next season to have a lower price point line."

The new line is scheduled to debut during New York Fashion Week next week.
