Yup, you heard it right and it’s leaving people asking, “What will happen to Transformers 3 then?” Megan Fox is out of the “Transformers” franchise, and she did not go quietly as the news is creating a buzz right now from the public.
According to one source from Paramount, the studio behind the film, she was axed from the film so that Shia LeBouf’s character---Sam Witwicky---would not be tied down to a love interest. Instead, they prefer to give his character a new direction by, maybe, concentrating more on helping the Autobots in stopping the Decepticons from destroying Earth.
But, in contrast to Paramount’s statement, representatives from Fox are saying that it was actually Fox’s decision to leave the franchise and never return for the third movie.
"Megan Fox will not be starring in ' Transformers 3,'" the reps said. "It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best."
The news is actually very confusing because people do not exactly know whether Megan Fox being out of “Transformers 3” was her decision or director Michael Bay’s decision. This news came out months after reports came out that Fox had a dispute with Bay, with the sexy actress saying the director was a “Hitler” from the actors. No wonder Fox being out from the next movie was said to be Bay’s decision.
"He's like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation," Megan said at the time. "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is," she continued. "So he's a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward."
Shortly thereafter, members of the " Transformers " crew posted an open letter on the director's site, condemning the actress for her behavior on set, calling Megan, "the grump of the set," as well as "thankless, classless, graceless" and "unfriendly."
Well, whatever the reason, we all know that one of the reasons “Transformers” was a big hit was because of Megan Fox. So, the question now is: What will happen in “Transformers 3” without Megan Fox?
