Katy Perry did not seem like she suffered a major leg injury last Tuesday as she performed her hit single “California Gurls” in a Canadian TV show. She was at her best and must have been good at hiding the pain as she pranced and danced in Live@Much stage.

The singer had managed to cut her right leg after doing a somehow “ambitious” dance move in a dance party after the MuchMusic Video Awards last Sunday night in Toronto. As a result, Katy was rushed to the hospital and had undergone 17 stitches on her right leg that had somehow opened up.

But this did not stop her to perform for her fans in the said Canadian TV show, much to the delight of the fans. And she even managed to become fashionable as she wore her skin-tight dress made of chocolate-chip patterned latex and candy cane stripped boots by Chanel Resort Collection. Her fashion style was enough for the fans to not notice the tan surgical stocking on her right leg, which is obviously where her wound is. It was actually something that some people would call fashionable because Katy was able to carry her whole outfit (together with the bandage) without looking awkward.

It also seems Katy is not that much bothered by the injury, but more embarrassed as she tweeted "17 stitches later Don't make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That's what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada :)!” This singer sure is something! Now that’s what I call dedication to the craft. :)
