It looks like secret weddings are a trend now for celebrities. Following after Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem secretly got married around the start of July---out of the public’s eye.
According to Cruz’s representative, Amanda Silverman, the couple got married at a friend’s house in the Bahamas, where it was a small occasion with just family members and close friends as their guests. Her wedding dress was designed by her longtime friend and fashion designer John Galliano.
Both Bardem and Cruz are from Spain, appeared together in 2008’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”, and have won Oscars in their own movies. You’ve got to hand it to them---they want their wedding private and romantic, they love each other, and are a perfect match.
