Lea Michele faces the wrath of some parents because of a pose that she did for Cosmopolitan magazine. But this pose is not the same as the one she did in GQ magazine. In fact, her new magazine cover gig is less than scandalous than that of GQ and people are wondering what parents are fussing about here.
The “Glee” star is seen posing in the Cosmopolitan cover wearing a “belly-button skimming V-neck black top” and flashes a bit of décolletage. And because of this, parents are scandalized by the cover saying that Michele plays a high school student in the TV series “Glee” and wearing something as daring as this is very inappropriate.
“It's irresponsible to be using an adult who represents a minor dressed in provocative clothes”, according to Suzette Valle, a writer in the blog Mamarazzi Knows Best. For her, this is bad for the young fans who adore her so much in portraying Rachel Berry.
For Cosmopolitan, however, they’re taking the scandal lightly as a spokesperson tells E!Online that “We're thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and think she looks stunning. Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine for adults." And besides, her outfit is not as skimpy and daring as people might think since this kind of clothing style is that of Cosmopolitan as well. Michele has yet to comment on the issue.
I think that this latest Magazine cover of Michele is not as scandalous as what other parents think. Yes, the GQ is scandalous, but this one? Not even one-fourth of a scandal. And yes, Michele is an adult, so she has all the right in posing for Cosmo in this outfit. Well, that’s just how it is with other parents.
