After less than a year of being together, “I Am Number Four” stars Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer have called it quits. Well, that was fast.
According to USMagazine.com, the couple decided to end everything last week with the 24-year-old Agron moving out of the Los Angeles home that he and 20-year-old Pettyfer once shared. This split comes after there were reports the couple were engaged, in which they denied.
It could be the attentions they are getting because of “I Am Number Four” have taken a toll on their relationship---maybe even for Pettyfer. He claimed a few weeks ago that the attention he’s getting is “overwhelming” for his private life and could have been a sign of trouble.
This was rather surprising as also, just weeks ago, both Pettyfer and Agron said great things about each other.
"She's an amazing woman and she's got this old school, classic movie star elegance to her. She's amazing." Pettyfer said of Agron on Ellen. The “Glee” star did the same thing in an interview with Sugar Magazine saying that "Alex might see himself as a bad boy, but he's actually very sweet in real life."
There is also the theory that the couple’s relationship was sort of a PR stunt for their film to be popular. And now that the film has been released, their stunt has to end. When media tried to reach Agron for comment, her rep told them that she does not want to comment on her personal life.
I was starting to like them both together, but I can’t help but believe that their relationship is just a publicity stunt. Well, looks like Hollywood would do anything to get their movie to be popular. Oh what a crazy world in Hollywood.
