Stars walk the red carpet presenting dresses and jewelry of the best and most famous designers and hope to be named “the best dressed” of the Oscar night.
According to the Vogue magazine Michelle Williams won the first place wearing Chanel. The second place belonged to Cate Blanchett looking beautiful in Givenchy dress. 14 year old Haile Steinfeld was praised by fashion experts for her great taste and choice of age appropriate Marchesa gown.
In general there was a lot of color. Red was prevalent, in shades that ran from vintage scarlet to burgundy lace. Ladies who looked the best in color were: Natalie Portman in Rodarte, Mila Kunis in Elie Saab and Florence Welch in Valentino.
The fashion star of the night was the co-host Anne Hathaway styled by Rachel Zoe. Hathaway looked glamorous and beautiful in every dress she wore that night.
