Colin Firth who won the Best Actor award for his role in The King's Speech, almost lost his Oscar at the party organized by the California governor.

The actor left the statue in the bathroom, however it was quickly returned to him by cloakroom attendant.

The actor was very busy at the party since everybody wanted to take pictures with him and have drinks. A source told The Mirror: 'Everyone was trying to buy him drinks. He may be 50 but he knows how to party and was determined to make the most of the occasion.'

This is the second time that Firth is believed to have misplaced his awards, having reportedly left his BAFTA on a bar last month.
