It is well known that Robert Pattison best known for his role of the vampire in Twilight saga is trying to change his image of a romantic vampire. The actor is currently promoting his newest movie “Water For Elephants”. As a part of the campaign, the actor appears on the cover of the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair Magazine (April 2011) with the alligator over his shoulders. The photo was taken by Annie Leibovitz.

In the interview Pattison opened up about his anxieties and how much he hates being famous.

"I don't know what's wrong with me," the teen idol told Vanity Fair's Nancey Jo Sales. "I haven't any memory. I can't write. All I can do is sign my name. I tried to write the other day--it looked like I was writing in Braille. [writes something]. See? It looks like spiders have written it."

He admits life is difficult for someone like him who lives in a bubble. “I like crazy people who don’t give a f***,” he told Vanity Fair. “I’ve just kinda stopped doing everything (…) I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Two and a Half Men. I love Cops — I think it’s my favorite TV show. God, I sound like such a loser!”

Somehow I don’t feel sorry for him. Does he really have a reason to complain so much ?
