Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman recently gave birth to a baby boy, sources have confirmed. The critically-acclaimed actress, who won an Academy Award this year for her role as a perfectionist-ballerina in the movie ‘Black Swan’ announced her pregnancy in December of last year. She simultaneously announced her engagement to ballet dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millipied. Portman is known to keep her private life extremely private, and has not disclosed the name of her infant child. She has, however, proclaimed that she is extremely overjoyed and blessed. Natalie Portman, who is famous for her critically acclaimed roles in films like ‘Leon’, ‘Closer’, ‘Garden State’ and ‘Black Swan’ recently starred in the Marvel comics’ superhero flick ‘Thor’, and the romantic comedy ‘No Strings Attached’ with Ashton Kutcher. Portman reportedly began dating Benjamin Millipied while filming ‘Black Swan’ in 2010. Benjamin was one of the main choreographers of the movie, and helped plan all the steps of the dance. He also significantly trained Natalie on the art of ballet and helped her prepare for her role as Nina in the movie. Natalie has had a fantastic year and has received accolade after accolade for her performance in ‘Black Swan’. She won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award this year, and was pregnant while receiving both.
