Is Charlie Sheen in talks to star in a new sitcom? Sources definitely point to this. The scandal-ridden actor, who was recently under fire for a drug scandal and rumors of erratic behavior on the set of his last television show ‘Two and a Half Men’, is said to be negotiating contracts to star in a new situational comedy. The show will not, however, have any involvement from ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre.
Charlie Sheen was recently fired from the set of ‘Two and a Half Men’ because of ‘unprofessionalism’ and ‘erratic behavior’. He seemed to further worsen his reputation when a number of photos of a drugged out Sheen surfaced all over the internet.
The disgraced actor seemed to be taking it in jovial spirits, turning all this negative attention into a rather profitable enterprise. He began a stand-up comedy tour and became quite popular over the internet and other blogging sites that seemed to appreciate his drama and love of fun.
Sheen started out as a member of the ‘brat-pack’ in the eighties, appearing in a number of critically acclaimed films like ‘Platoon’, ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, ‘Major League’ and the original ‘Wall Street’.
