Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez says she’s “on the fence” about continuing as a judge on the hit television show ‘American Idol’. While she made a whopping $12 million serving as a judge on the show, she is hesitant about signing a contract for yet another season. She may be asking for a raise in pay, as Steven Tyler earned $18 million for his stint as a judge on this year’s season of American Idol. Jennifer Lopez, who has world famous star status as an actress, singer, dancer and entrepreneur, who has many movies and songs under her belt, including current chart topper ‘On the Floor’, signed on as a judge for the reality competition show in 2010, and has been popular among audiences and critics alike because of her good judging abilities. Her refusal to sign another year’s contract is sure to make the show lose some of its star power. The other judges, Randy Jackson (who has been a judge on the show since season 1) and Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler will continue on as judges next year. Lopez joined the show after popular judge Simon Cowell resigned last year. She brought a lot of glamour and interest to the show, after ratings began going down after last season.
