Comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, who was recently under fire for his highly controversial remarks that very blatantly targeted homosexuals, seems to really regret his statements. The actor, who recently insulted the gays during a stand up show, was denounced by a number of pro-gay organizations and other celebrities such as Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey. Morgan, who is one of the stars on the critically-acclaimed sitcom ’30 Rock’, has been acting for several years. After the remarks, Tina Fey (who writes, stars in and produces the show) defended Tracy but also said that his remarks were a disappointment as the entire cast and crew of ’30 Rock’ continually depend on gays and her set is a very liberal environment. Tracy Morgan is however paying for his crime. The actor has kept his word about meeting with GLAAD in order to gain a better perspective on the trials of homosexuals. He even visited several people at the Ali Forney Center, a New York City organization for LGBT youth that are homeless. He has also promised to return to Tennessee next week to meet with local gay activists and lawyers. Tracy really seems to be taking this seriously, and hopes to make the world a better place for misplaced LGBT people.
