In rather upsetting news, the seemingly solid and drama-free couple that was Lauren Conrad and actor Kyle Howard has called it quits. The low-key twosome was together for three years. Rumors were even flying around claiming their engagement earlier this year. The beauty mogul/reality star/ fashion designer began dating the ‘My Boys’ actor in early 2008, and kept her life extremely private and away from the cameras, which was rather unexpected, as her co-stars from her former reality show ‘The Hills’ have kept their private lives pretty much in the public radar. Lauren Conrad, who never had dreams of being an actress, began showing ambition to become a fashion designer quite a few years ago, while in the midst of starring in her (much mocked) hit reality show ‘The Hills’. She certainly seems to be the most focused of all the stars and has been working hard towards fulfilling her dream career. She has had a string of fashion shows and has released beauty products. The star who is now an entrepreneur, seems to be doing pretty well for herself, away from the spotlight (unlike her former friend and co-star Heidi Montag). It is indeed sad to hear of the news, as the couple seemed to be quite happy and content.
