‘Ugly Betty’ star America Ferrera finally married her long time boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams in New York on Monday. The couple, who met while they were students of University of South California, got interested in each other when Ryan cast America in a film he made. The couple has been together ever since, living together since 2007 and taking care of their pet dog, a golden retriever named Buddy. The couple wed in style at Vanessa Williams’ glamorous Chappaqua, New York home. Many of Ferrera’s celebrity friends were in attendance, including her ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ cast-mates Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn. Her ‘Ugly Betty’ cohorts like Rebecca Romijn (and her husband Jerry O’Connell), Mark Indelicato and Judith Light (who officiated the proceedings) were present to support her. Ryan Piers Williams apparently proposed to America Ferrera in June 2010, presenting her with a fancy 4 carat diamond ring that cost about $70,000. The stability of this relationship is truly lovely especially in Hollywood when relationships that last as long as 2 years are classified as an achievement. Congratulations to the happy couple.
