It is that time of the year again, and the Glastonbury Music Festival is taking England by storm. For the first time in the history of the festival, a woman became one of the headlining acts. This woman is none other than mega star Beyonce. The singer and entertainer wowed audiences and literally made jaws drop while performing a number of songs from a set list that included ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘Single Ladies’, and ‘Déjà vu’, while including numbers from her latest album ‘4’. She got rave reviews for song and dance routines and performed in front of a crowd of more than 170,000 audience members- members that included the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay front man Chris Martin, not to mention Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z. Paltrow, Beyonce and Jay-Z were also photographed watching Coldplay’s performance at Glastonbury later that week. They hung out in the VIP section (of course) and Jay Z was seen having a good chat with Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow and Martin are supposedly very close to Jay-Z and Beyonce. Beyonce also performed ‘At Last’, the Etta James song that she sang during the White House Inaugural Ball.
