Emma Stone’s star is definitely rising to new and unprecedented heights. The actress, who has become a hugely popular actress over the summer, has a number of new movies to add to her kitty, a budding relationship with an equally famous costar, and a Golden Globe nomination to her name. The actress, 22, recently spoke to Vanity Fair about the ups and downs her career has had to face, including facing a number of role rejections early on in her career. She said that her real low point was when she did not get the chance to play cheerleader Claire Bennet on ‘Heroes’, a role that went to Hayden Panettiere. However, Emma did not have to worry for too long, because after her breakout role in hilarious comedy ‘Superbad’, there was no looking back. The actress now has a number of new movies on her plate, including this summer’s period piece called ‘The Help’, based on the eponymous novel. She will also be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ alongside heavyweights Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore and Kevin Bacon. Apart from this, a small role in the new Timberlake-Kunis comedy ‘Friends with Benefits’ and the role of Gwen Stacy in next year’s ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ await.
