You would hardly believe Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were even married. When the two announced their engagement nearly two years ago, people were surprised. They were so under-the-radar that no one really knew what to think. The fact that they were so secretive was also a reason to believe that these two would last for a long time. Of course, people were surprised when the two announced their separation earlier this year. Reynolds, who is a romantic comedy heartthrob was previously involved with rocker Alanis Morissette. He has been acting in many comedies and has established himself as a comedian with some extra acting talent to spare. He starred in this year’s ‘Green Lantern’ with rising star Blake Lively. Scarlett, on the other hand, has made a name for herself by starring in independent films (apart from her habit of acting in Woody Allen’s movies). She recently took a different path by playing a role in last year’s megahit ‘Iron Man 2’ and will reprise her role in the upcoming ‘The Avengers’. She recently rebounded from the marriage with much older actor Sean Penn. The two have refused to comment on their divorce, though the papers did cite “irreconcilable differences”.
