Recent court papers filed by Linda Evangelista confirm that Francois is in fact, the father of her son Augustin James (who is 4). Evangelista has signed a petition seeking support from Pinault. Francois-Henri Pinault is a French businessman and the chief executive officer of PPR, a company that specializes in housing luxury brands including Gucci, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen and Sergio Rossi. This revelation means that Pinault owes $920,000 in child support. He already has one daughter, Valentina, from his marriage to actress Salma Hayek, and he has two other children from his first marriage. Linda, who made her name as one of the foremost supermodels of the nineties, hails from Canada. She has, over her long career, been the face of a number of companies, most notably L’Oreal.
