The premiere of Harry Potter has arrived, and the evening showed all the actors and actresses from the films walking down the red carpet, looking their best. Emma Watson glittered and looked devastating in an oyster grey Oscar de la Renta tulle confection. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint looked smart and dashing in their suits, and the film’s other stars, like Helena Bonham Carter (who shocked with her beautiful blue-green gown) beamed and bowed for the fans and the cameras. Emma Watson, when talking about her time on the sets of the Harry Potter franchise, was so overwhelmed with tears that she had to lean on producer David Heyman’s shoulder and sob for a while. Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe talked about their amazing experience and JK Rowling looked on, lovely as ever in a green gown. Time has really flown, as it was in 2001 when the actors of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first stepped out on the red carpet. The young stars have grown up well, and have not been rocked by any scandals over the years (like sensible children). Now it is the final film, and hearts are breaking everywhere.
