It seems like just yesterday when Disney darling Demi Lovato suffered a breakdown during one of her concert rehearsals and acted out on a back-up dancer. The actress at the time was suffering from a number of insecurities, romantic entanglements and an overload of stress. She promptly checked herself into a rehabilitation center, to get her life back on track. After coming out of treatment, the actress and singer swiftly got back to work, and recorded a new single ‘Skyscraper’, that has been lauded for its raw and on-the-spot vocals and emotional lyrics. The singer also released a video which is fast becoming a big hit. Demi Lovato’s personal life seems to be going places too. Media reports recently released news that the singer, who is only 18, has been quietly dating actor Ryan Phillippe, 36. This May-December relationship is undergoing a lot of scrutiny, and is made worse by the fact that Ryan is currently in a complicated situation involving his ex-girlfriend having his baby. The former Mr. Reese Witherspoon has also allegedly been involved in a number of relationships, including a rather high profile one with ‘Mamma Mia!’ actress Amanda Seyfried. No word on whether the rumors are true, but reports also say that Demi was pretty taken aback by the baby drama that has been going around with her much-older ‘boyfriend’.
