The actress, who has another son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, gave birth to her son earlier this week. She announced her pregnancy before the summer, and then announced her engagement to her musician-boyfriend Matthew Bellamy. Now, Kate has revealed the name of her new born son. According to media reports, the name she has released is ‘Bingham Hawn Bellamy’. ‘Bingham’ is named after Matt Bellamy’s mother’s maiden name. ‘Bing’ is also the name of Kurt Russell (Kate’s mother’s partner)’s father, Bing Russell. Bingham was born weighing 7lb 12 oz. The proud parents have not made their joy a secret. Matthew Bellamy is the lead singer and guitarist of popular alternative rock band Muse. His band, Muse, won a Grammy this year for Best Rock Band. He began dating actress Kate Hudson in 2010, and the two have had a whirlwind courtship. Kate Hudson was last seen in the romantic comedy, ‘Something Borrowed’. No word on her career plans yet, but she plans to continue making movies. She will however, concentrate on raising her two sons and making wedding plans.
