Kristen Wiig has had an excellent year so far. The hilarious actress and comedian impressed audiences in the biggest surprise hit of the year- ‘Bridesmaids’- and has been on the radar ever since. Previously only restricted to the hit comedy-skit show ‘Saturday Night Live’, the actress made audiences laugh as the lovable and hilarious Maid of Honor in the movie that was produced by Judd Apatow. The actress is now free to choose any project at will, and she has told internet blog Indiewire of her plans to act in her dream project, titled ‘Imogene’. She told the website that the movie is about a girl who pretends to kill herself in order to get her former boyfriend’s attention. Wiig, who is a regular on Saturday Night Live, will be voicing Lola Bunny on ‘The Looney Tunes Show’. She is also slated to star in a number of other roles. The actress, who made her mark with supporting roles in films like ‘Knocked Up’, ‘MacGruber’, ‘Date Night’ and ‘Paul’, is also rumored to star in the yet-unconfirmed ‘Bridesmaids’ sequel. Kristen Wiig still plays an important role on Saturday Night Live and will continue to do so. Her career right now seems to be soaring as high as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
