It has been an extremely sad week for Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom and his reality star wife, Khloe Kardashian. A car that the basketball star was riding in (but not driving) hit a motorcycle, which in turn hit a teenage boy. The teenage boy succumbed to his injuries and died in the hospital, reportedly devastating Odom. Lamar is no stranger to tragedies in the past- his child from a previous relationship died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, while sleeping in his crib in New York. Odom has two other children, Destiny and Lamar Jr. from his previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales. Odom tweeted his condolences to the family of the teenage boy, and is said to be extremely sad by the news of his death. They were in New York at the time to attend another funeral that was taking place in Odom’s family. Khloe Kardashian also expressed her deep-felt condolences, and wrote a message on her Twitter page. Odom tweeted: "Thank you for your support and prayers! My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys family." Khloe’s message was similar: "My heart/soul goes out 2every1 in pain from any suffering. Pray 4 all of the angels surrounding us constantly. May our spirits stay strong. “
