James Franco has definitely been extremely busy the past two years. The perennial student, who is slated to act in a number of movies and has been promoting a number of projects, both personal and professional, has confirmed that he and his actress girlfriend, Ahna O’ Reilly split up earlier this year. He confirmed the split in his interview with Playboy. The two were quietly dating for a little more than five years, and they apparently even lived together in Los Angeles, before deciding to come to school in New York City. James studied in New York University and then did an art course in Rhode Island School of Design. After he got admission into Yale, his girlfriend apparently decided that it was time to end the relationship. He told Playboy: “It's over... We'd been living together in L.A. and then came to New York to go school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her.” James Franco recently confessed to crushing on teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson, and spoke of wanting to act in the new movie “Breaking Dawn”. He will be seen in the new movie, “The Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.
