This is indeed a big year for teen superstar Kristen Stewart. The infamously awkward actress, who became an overnight sensation in the homes of many teenagers with her role as Bella Swan in the ‘Twilight’ movies, will soon be seen in the dark reinterpretation of ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’. The movie is a different and darker take on the famous fairytale, and will star Kristen Stewart as Snow White herself. Only this time, Snow White will be more of a warrior princess, with armor and a sword. The movie has a star-studded cast. Joining Kristen are the likes of Charlize Theron playing the Evil Queen, ‘Thor’ stud Chris Hemsworth who will be the Huntsman who is sent by the Queen to kill Snow White and bring back her heart, and Sam Claflin as the Prince. In this story, the Huntsman realizes the Queen’s evil and decides to side with the warrior princess and take down the Queen. The cast of the upcoming movie attended Comic Con to promote their work. They have not started filming as yet, but promo images of the cast in character have been released. Charlize Theron also spoke of her eagerness to work with Kristen. Chris Hemsworth joined the cast only recently. Prior to his involvement, Michael Fassbender (‘X-Men: First Class’) was in talks to join the movie and play the Huntsman.
