In celebration of the 100-day countdown until “The Hunger Games” comes out, its final poster has been revealed.

The movie poster was revealed after having completed the scavenger hunt that was launched by Lionsgate . In the hunt, fans have to find 100 poster puzzle pieces to solve the puzzle. When all the pieces were formed, fans must upload the newly formed poster in the Hunger Games Official Facebook Page. And now that the puzzle has been solved, Lionsgate officially presents the new and final poster to “The Hunger Games”.

The poster contains the a lighted stadium and the faces of Katniss and Peeta in flags that are standing on the left and right side of the poster. In the middle is Katniss, her back at us and looking towards “the road ahead” with a crowd of spectators watching---thus the tagline above “The World Will Be Watching”. Fans are very excited for this new poster and can’t wait for the movie to come out next year. I’m not surprised as I, too, am very excited for it.

“The Hunger Games” is based on the best-selling book series of Suzanne Collins where 12 boys and 12 girls compete in a competition where they fight to the death until one emerges as the victor. The movie will be shown in theaters worldwide on March 23, 2012.

How about you? Are you getting excited for the film now that you have seen the final poster?
